I was interested in numerology but I thought the books with their long-winded descriptions of each number's characteristics was stoopid.

I sought general and simple descriptions for each number by reading several books on numerology until it was obvious what every writer agreed on.  Then I chose a few words to describe each number

Then I realized that all reality is based on ideas, and just as matter is based on a number of basic elements that combine to form different materials, then reality is a combination of a few basic ideas.

It become obvious that there are only four ideas in the world.  A description of any of the four elements of reality can only be an approximation, because the elements of reality are as infinite as reality itself.

ONENESS is the universe as one object, undivided into parts.

TWONESS is separation, duality, distinction.

THREENESS is joining, communication, coming together.

FOURNESS is order, value, sequence, time.

I also thought that numerology, instead of being based on the order of the alphabet, should be based on the relative frequency of the sounds or phonemes in the language.  I tried many schemes and learned that they all work, so I went back to standard numerology.

I hoped to define every conceptual term into its elemental constituents.  Then to assign a phonemic type to each element, and to devise rules for combining phonemes into words, mirroring the way that the four elements of reality combine into concepts.  This would generate a new language whose vocabulary would be built in such a way that the sounds in every word describe the meaning of the word so perfectly in relation to the other words inthe language, that the language would become a universal tool for communicating the truth instantaneously.

Well why not?  If they can split the atom for no good reason, why can't we split reality into its parts and study it?

In the process of messing around with numerology I discovered number triangles and patterns.  Like numerology, zeroes are not used.  Digits are added to make a single digit.  Example: 14 = 5.  Example: 91 = 1.

By adding a row of digits one pair at a time, another row is generated beneath it, etc., till the bottom row is one digit long.  If the top row is generated by someone's name, the person's numerological characteristics could be said to unfold from a single number, the apex of the triangle, with a unique pattern between the top row (name) and bottom row (one-pointed definition of person's identity.)

Two triangles side by side can fill in to generate a unique pattern of numbers between them.

A mirrored pattern such as 1893981 always unfolds from a pair such as 44 or 55.

Most interestingly, the left leg of each triangle can be used as the top row of a succeeding triangle, etc., and I found that in our system of 9 digits, the 10th triangle in such a series would be identical to the 1st triangle in the series.  If a system of 4 digits is used (1,2,3,4,1 instead of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) then the series of triangles has four unique patterns and the 5th triangle is the same as the first.  Why this happens I don't know but I am convinced that I have discovered a principle that has some use in math or science or both.

Since my lobotomy I have stopped being concerned with such things but it was fun being a genius while it lasted.
